old old porrsche gt3

recently i was told i shouldnt even be able to see it in my game yet i can (it just wont let me buy it!) and i have now also seen that i can add them as ai even tho it isnt supposed to exist in the game anymore. is it normal that i can add the old old porsche gt3 as ai but cant drive it myself?

You can do everything you want with older gt3 cars, just not buying them. I take the RUF Porsche sometimes for a spin because of real world memories

There's a difference between the old Porsche and other discontinued cars. You can see Porsche in the game and select it as AI even if you don't own it, but that doesn't apply to other cars: if you don't have them, you don't see them and can't select them as AI.

it's left visible in the game so that people who own the car, but not all liveries for it, were able to buy the rest of the liveries

ah so ppl who bought the car a few years ago still can use it, and if they want more liveries they can still buy them today as long as they already have the car? ok that makes sense, thank you

yes, that's correct. you can use other discontinued cars too if you have them (RUF GT3 and Citroen WTCC), just can't buy other liveries for them because you simply don't see those other liveries

also, there are still some ways to get you the RUF and Citroen, but no way to buy the Porsche 😐

even if u don't own some cars, u still can have everything as AI

There was a steam dlc "Nürburgring Legends" that featured the Ruf. If you are lucky end still get a key from some key site and can redeem it you have the ruf.
For the Citroen, on Raceroom's webpage (not the game, but the company raceroom) there is a dlc about wtcc (costs 24€) which features wtcc 13-15. so you get the 14 and 15 citroen, so still missing the 16 and 17 one unfortunately

I meant you can't select them manually (and I just checked), you simply don't see them in the list. but you can probably see them randomly in single player practice/race if you only set grid size
