#black screen for few seconds during race

Common folks, am I the only one who is having this issue?
Does it only happen in RR? Otherwise, replace your monitor cable. Low specification cables or worn/broken cables often lead to exactly this.
hmmm ur right, used to happen to me 🤔 also, my second monitor is sensitive to any electric signal, sometimes it goes dark for a few seconds when i plug in some hardware or even when someones rings door bell 😂
strange
Yep, consequence of digital signal transfer and handshakes. It won't show a skewed, distorted image when there's interference, maybe to not damage the monitor itself - handshake says "no" - so the image goes black. Super common problem when you google it.
This happens only in RR during online race. All other games run fine. The pc is connected to my Samsung TV via hdmi. I have a MSI Z370 motherboard, I9-9th gen, 48 GB, Nvidia 1080 8gb and a 1000 Watt power supply.
Ok, thanks for the hint, I will try another cable
Try switching between fullscreen and borderless windowed.
Also, if you're using VRR, try turning it off.
Try lowering the resolution or refresh rate.
Update your GPU drivers if you haven't already.
Turn Afterburner/RTSS off.
Run stock clock speeds.
Try a different monitor. Or at least turn auto-detection of input port off.
Try another DX9 application (benchmark like Unigine Heaven).
None of this should be needed, but could be relevant for troubleshooting.
