Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
So "venir de London" would be right?
Oops lol
Thank you!
Would that make sense if someone says:
"Where are you from?" (but in french)
Me: "venir de Londres"
Also does saying "je suis de Londres" make sense
Would you answer that question by saying "To come from London"?
"je suis de Londres" → "I am from London"
if you want to use venir, you need to conjugate it
Ahh I haven't learnt how to conjugate things yet sorry
So that's a suuuuuper important concept in French and you're going to need it to form sentences
Learning French introduces a whole new world of grammatical terms, like verb conjugation. What is a verb conjugation and what does it mean to conjugate a verb?
Merci beaucoup!
