Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
you can say "évidemmenent", "bien sûr [que je veux]"
Thank you, does that convey enthusiasm? Trying to find something that’s like “sounds good but it’s okay if you do and it’s okay if you don’t”
"comme tu veux" is like "if you want", can be a bit more negative depending on tone etc
"D'accord" is probably the closest? Basically just "okay"
The examples honeycomb gave are indeed enthusiastic
"vas-y" came to mind, can be pretty unenthusiastic. like "go ahead"
it's also similarly short
especially "azy"
but it doesn't work for all the situations that sure works in
for example "did you like the movie?" "vas-y" doesn't make sense
i don't know if French has an easy noncommital tepid positive for matters of opinion, boff is like "ehh", je suppose is literally "i guess"
