Hi, there is no application or extension that allows you to legally translate discord messages
Alternatively, you can use BetterDiscord or Vencord
Even if there are few cases of banning, it violates discord's TOS

I suppose my follow up question would be what’s a good app you’d recommend to quickly translate copied text? When I see an unfamiliar phrase on here I copy it and paste it into Google Translate but that feels a little clunky

You can use the DeepL extension for Chrome. Just gotta select the text and an icon will show up next to it. This is desktop only tho
