with "faire un tour du monde", you're saying you wanna make one trip around the world, among others

I didn’t see it coming up but « faire le tour (de quelque chose) » is something native people can use sometimes that means « go through » like not physically, more about going through some process. Hope this doesn’t disturbs your understanding of it.
