Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
just tag me plz
Why not both
but decoding everything and anayzig everythig takes so much time
i end up transating 5 questions in 2 hours
thats my total wrk
i feel like im too slow
bruh didnt een tag me
It's supposed to ping you when i reply
That's why you do it in moderation
Do it until you start to get sick of it, then do some lighter effort stuff
It's always a balance between high effort and low effort, both can help but are best when used in tandem in a way that keeps your momentum, avoids burning you out, while also giving you a challenge from time to time
oooh
how do i challenge my self? i learn 10 things in 1 day and 10 tomorrow, 10 in future
how can i keep up with all thos rthings as time progress
Anything you actively struggle to understand is going to be a "challenge". At the beginning most things will be.
In between that you can have stuff like podcasts or videos or music or whatever you like playing in the background, or anything where you don't need to make an effort to understand
ohkhkhkh, btw how underratted is background listening
like lesss say im cooking or walking etc and i dont really kare much about french stuff playing in bg
is it realy worth it or it can really boost m y speaking??
do i really need to do active liststiing? like 50% active 50% passive?''
Passive wont make you learn the language on its own. It gets your ears tuned to the sounds of the language which can make it a bit easier to parse the language and mimic the sounds later on, and at later stages of learning it will help you gain familiarity with how things would be worded naturally, giving you a sort of point of reference
dam i think that can gimme a lil boost
You should learn actively as much as you're comfortable, and supplement with passive when you get frustrated and need a break
Or just when you feel satisfied w the active learning
Like "i had a really good session today, lets put on some music"
ohkhkhk, btw how do one doe active listening?
i usually pause at every sentece, anlyse the word, trying to u derstand sentence sturtuure, then i looop into some new grammer concept.. should i keep doing it this way?
Try variety. You'll figure out what works for you, and it can be a mix of different methods depending on how you're feeling
Try Téléfrançais and InnerFrench
Téléfrançais you should be able to watch without really looking anything up, that's what it's made for
brooo WTF these 2 are insane
im thinking to do 1 hour of active lstening everyday, like non negotiable
cuz I study good 6-7 hours everyday
with ADHD btw 😭 but i try to focus
Ah so I didn’t invent this method
i also invented that method
