Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
En replaces any noun introduced by the preposition "de".
Je rêve d'une voiture => J'en rêve
J'ai besoin de crayons => J'en ai besoin
What happens to the noun at the end?
It's replaced by en
I dream of a car = i dream of it
Je rêve d'une voiture = j'en rêve
The point of a pronoun is to make a reference to a particular noun it replaces.
It etymologically stands in for a noun.
ohh i underestand, thank you !
and y is the same thing with à+thing
J’adore ça jouer à ce jeu !
J’adore ça y jouer
