What is the biggest industry in France?

How are gay people treated, typically? Is it widely accepted, or is there a large branch of the population that is homophobic or transphobic?

Does France enjoy having foreigners? One of the biggest stereotypes about the French has been their distaste with anyone who isnt French, so I'm curious as to how the stereotype would fit, realistically.
