specifically for ice cream, parfum can be used for flavor instead (when you choose one out of several options) "which flavor" (saveur isn't as idiomatic in this case)

something can be grammatical (fits the "rules" of the language) but not idiomatic (nobody would actually say it)

and for your "rabais" question it would help to have the full sentence/context? it's unlikely the word itself was the issue imo

Yeah rabais is a fairly common word but I don't see how it's related to saveur/parfum
