It's a weird sentence but makes the most sense of anything we've come up with imo

I can say, if that's true, then it's the only version of this song (and I've listened and transcribed a bunch already) in which they kept that pun from the original in that line.

Yeah, this.

But in other ones there's no pun at all, at least if I'm not wrong.

Btw, I recall that, for example, in the English version the rats use the word "rat" as stand-in for "right" many times in the movie.
(Like "Do the rat thing" or "You're not a rat boy, you're a wrong boy!").
