Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

Fwiw, I see Flynn responding and he'll do a great job, but do keep in mind that we can't actually do your homework for you.

they both mean "your", but are NOT interchangeable
I'm going to explain the difference, but I need to be aware of your knowledge
first of, do you know the difference between "tu" and "vous" ?

when you're using a pronoun, you have 6 main categories:
je (I) -> for the person speaking
tu (you, singular) -> for the person being spoken to
il/elle (he/she) -> for someone else
nous (we) -> for the group of the person speaking
vous (you, plural) -> for multiple people being spoken to
ils/elles (they) -> for multiple other people

#

je, tu, il/elle are singular pronouns, they only refer to one person
nous, vous, ils/elles are plural pronouns, they refer to multiple people

#

-# note: "vous" can also refer to one person given specific conditions, but not relevant right now

#

it's important to understand the difference between "tu" and "vous"
they both translate to "you", but don't mean the same

#

are you following until now?

d'accord excuse moi

young quiver
# rugged spruce Oui

and the same difference applies to "your"
ton/ta/tes mean "your" when talking to a single person
votre/vos mean "your" when talking to multiple people

#

does that make sense for now?

rugged spruce
#

Oui I will try to apply it and let you know if I have any other questions, MERCI!!!
