The trigraph -eil is its own thing for pronunciation
There are plenty of Cil words where the L is pronounced. Don't think there's a clear rule there
Totalement le l du persil est prononcé par certaines personnes. Moi je ne le prononce pas mais dans le sud de la France si. C'est comme cerf certains vont prononcer le f d'autres non.
The "l" in "persil" (parsley) is pronounced by some people. I don't pronounce it myself, but in the south of France they do. It's like the "f" in "cerf" (deer); some people pronounce it, others don't.
