Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

Never heard of anything like that in France, but maybe it's possible in private schools?

I didn't go through the French system, but I work in higher ed in France now. Generally our students just have a report card with grades out of 20 which also includes a note from their teachers about what they need to work on. For the Baccalauréat, depending on how well they do, they can also have a "mention" (assez bien, bien, or très bien)

More generally speaking, the French 20 point system is quite harsh. A 10/20 is considered "average" and depending on the school getting a 6 or 7 out of 20 may be enough to pass. It's exceedingly rare for students to get 20/20
