Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Lego

Repeating the subject is discouraged and may sound awkward (like it does here) - durant le cours de
Au cours de, unless this was a class...? I assume that's not what you meant - j'ai trouvé la nourriture variée comme des pizzas
Idk if i understand this? Are you saying pizzas have variety and this place reminds you of that...? - Il y a
Just wrong capitalization - du autour du monde
I'm assuming you meant "de partout [dans le monde]" or something to that effect..? - j'ai préfèré
Wrong accent - seulement mangé en majorité
I feel like you switch thoughts in the middle of this, is it only or mostly? and "en majorité" doesn't really work like that afaik. It sounds very strange to me - Emménerais
Wrong tense and accent
Overall pretty good, mostly just very simple sentences and some awkwardness but that just takes practice
Albatros just missed one point : pain au chocolat -> chocolatine 😉

thank you!
- Au cours de, unless this was a class...? I assume that's not what you meant - it wasnt a class but more of a festival
- j'ai trouvé la nourriture variée comme des pizzas - i meant to say there were a lot of diffferent types of food for example pizzas
- I'm assuming you meant "de partout [dans le monde]" or something to that effect..? - yes i meant from around the world
- I feel like you switch thoughts in the middle of this, is it only or mostly? and "en majorité" doesn't really work like that afaik. It sounds very strange to me - i meant to say i mostly ate only desserts at the festival and i would have liked to try other dishes too
my exam is next week, do you think i will be able to get atleast a lower B2 with this level of writing ?
In a week? It depends on what they're considering b2 I guess
This looks fairly b1 to me but also depends on the text
Hmm there are 3 tasks on the test, it’s the tcf Canada exam and this one was for task 2 where the topic was « you recently participated in a festival called the week of taste and you are describing your experience »
here is what i found on how the writng is evaluated
- "durant le cours de" would more or less mean "during the class of" which is why I was saying that
- your sentence doesn't work then (nor would a direct translation to english), you'd have to reword
- ok, then yeah partout
- "only" and "mostly" are two different things - it might sort of informally work in english but in french it makes no sense. "Mostly just"/"surtout juste" could work in the right sentence, but "seulement" is ONLY
I could be wrong but I personally would not expect a B2, especially not in a week. You've definitely got a good base to work off of though so with some more time and effort it shouldn't be an issue
