Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Venir is one of the most important French verbs - here's how to conjugate it into every tense and mood. - Lawless French
With Passé Composé you need an auxillary verb
Which in most cases is with Avoir (j'ai joué for example) but with some verbs like venir you need to us the verb être
You also need to agree the past participle verb with gender and quanitity.
So if i was a woman i would say Je suis venue
and Nous sommes venus
Here are the 'movement verbs' that use être
you can remember is by using the accronym DR MRS VANDERTRAMP or Maison d'être
i’d like to add that you can use avoir with sortir to mean that you’re taking something out
« j’ai sorti les vidanges »
ohhh Okay thank you so much I think I mostly just got confused with if i needed to conjugate the infinitivs
