Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
@last lark use threads
it would be future, if your first clause is present tense, but that wouldn't really make sense
I mean it's not very common to use the present after si anyway
it would make more sense to say "si j'avais beaucoup d'argent..."
And if it's future and certain you wanna use quand, not si
Quand j'aurai de l'argent, j'achèterai...
With the present it's like "whenever"
Si j'ai de l'argent, je le dépense
i think they're thinking more of the form "si mon équipe gagne le match, je serai très content"
yeah
on peut dire "si je découvre aujourd'hui que mon compte bancaire est plein d'argent, je serai content"
I still think it should be future tense bc if you use present it means whenever
That implies it's totally possible
évidemment
"si tu veux aller au bar ça me va" is present + present
"Si tu penses que c'est trop je peux en mettre moins"
Basically if you're talking about a current possibility based on if something is already true or not
