The neat thing about it is "que" can be put anywhere in a sentence, not just near a verb, before an element you want to put a restriciton on.

Je ne mange que les pâtes le lundi.
Here, you put the restriciton on what you can eat on that particular day, you don't eat anything else on Mondays.
Je ne mange les pâtes que le lundi.
Here, you put the restriction on the days you eat pasta, you don't eat it on other days.
