Je crois qu'il y avait "rei" pour roi et "roine" pour reine à des moments (pas forcément en même temps) avant que ce soit stabilisé sur roi et reine

mais ça n'a rien à avoir avec le fait que on s'attend que la forme masculine de "reine" soit "rein"
