Quart d'heure and quinze minutes both work.

yes. That one is a bit more intuitive. In my language as well we say that. But saying quarter-hour instead of 15 mins made me chuckle hehehehehe
Or 'x heures et demie' for a duration.

I hate it so much when people tend to say 'trois heures moins quart' instead of 'deux heures quart' idk why it confuses me so much I always try to do maths in my head hahaha
