Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Préparer is a transitive verb, it means to prepare/ready someone/something.
You will need an object to make it a complete sentence. Here, it is the reflexive pronoun te. Se préparer = to prepare/ready oneself = to get ready.
préparer needs a direct object like « tu prépares tes valises ? » so if you are preparing yourself, i.e. getting ready for something, you use the pronominal version « tu te prépares (I’m getting ready) ». Literally ‘I prepare myself’.
Merci
Since the others didn't mention it:
'Ou' means 'or', while 'où' (with the accent) means 'where'.
