Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
definite articles (le/la/les) vs indefinite articles (un/une/des) isn't about new topics or not, it's about specific or unspecific instances.
j'ai vu le chien de Thomas => I saw Thomas' dog (you're talking about a specific dog)
j'ai vu un chien => I saw a dog (doesn't matter the dog)
in your sentence, you're talking about a specific week, which is next week.
Oh, I was taught in university that it’s also about topics. Say, we didn’t mention Thomas’ dog before, hence I would probably use “un” without your explanation.
