I'm not a native but if you wanna say i'm very sorry you could say je suis vraiment désolé or je suis navré

it's not what you would say in most situations. I think I'd say it if I were in 1) a professional scenario (désolé would still work btw) 2) it's very heavy stuff 3) I'm tryna give my friends a bullshit funny sorry
would recommend listening to whateve a native says if they object to what I say tho
