Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
<will do = ?>
will do = ?
You have two options:
- Aller + infinitive:
Je vais le faire.
I am going to do it.
- Futur simple:
Je le ferai.
I will do it.
The former is more casual to me, but perhaps wait on the opinion of a native to be sure. I'm curious to know what they'd say.
You can also just use the present tense in casual speech:
Je mange ce soir.
I'll eat tonight.
That's probably the most casual.
honestly you'd better use another construction altogether to sound natural like "ça marche" or "je m'en occupe", but "je vais le faire" sounds fine
Good point, hadn't considered those options. I was thinking in a more general 'I will do <verb>' sense, it seems.
Ça roule ma poule !
Is that slang
