Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

Never heard ça me barbe

Surely comes from barbant but even that adjective nobody says that any more. It’s outdated

  1. ✅ Used
  2. ✅ "Ça me barbe" is less used, we would say more like "ça me saoule".
  3. ✅ But incorrect translation : "je suis paresseux" = "I am lazy" (not crazy because crazy=fou)
  4. ✅ Used as "You're asking a lot" or "C'mon!" or "You've gone too far!" or "You're pushing it!". It can be for fun with friends or for real annoying situations.
  5. 〰️ Not used a lot anymore, but it can be understood. We used more like "C’est du mytho"
