Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Maybe « À quel point est-ce que tu comprends ça ? (To what extent do you understand this/that?) »
Can I say T’en comprends combien ?
Sure but it has a different meaning
Tu en comprends combien ? = How much of this do you understand ?
so it depends on what that 'how much' is doing
I fully agree with "à quel point" but not with "combien"
combien is only used for quantities I think, there it sounds completely false
now there are other ways to cheat your way through getting the same answer but with a different question even if you don't know exactly how to say it
for example saying : "est-ce que tu comprends ça entièrement/bien/complètement ?" should net you the same answer
