Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
We don't really have classes here, the primary purpose of this server is to give people a place to hang out and practice their French. We do have a bunch of resources you can check out in #1279421820654850162 .
As an absolute beginner, there's not really any wrong way to learn french. You can just start using Google translate to translate whatever people are saying in #français-débutant and learn the most common words that way. That said, if you want a little more structure, I recommend looking at lawlessfrench.com's beginner guide
alright, thank you!
are there any designated study groups I can join? or a way to get a French study buddy?
You're welcome! For the latter, you can try posting in #correspondances . I'm not aware of any designated study groups, but people tend to make friends and form groups naturally after chatting a while in the conversation channels.
thank you so much for the help! I really appreciate it ☺️
you're welcome!
