Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

Ive been been using French Today for some vocab lists for nouns (some verbs and phrases) recently however there are some vocab in those that aren't commonly used. You can also find vocab lists in English and translate them to French. Vocab by topic is a little easier and also if you come across something you dont know yet, look it up! Word reference is good for that. I also use Anki to make flashcards!

Duolingo does gradually increase and review it for me. If you use it daily and skip ahead sometimes, it does help

You could also Google lists of words to make flashcards or find pre-existing flashcards on Quizlet.

Duolingo wouldn't be my recommendation go-to for language learning given they have a toxic marketing strategy and the structure they use isn't great. They have also backed AI and implemented huge layoffs to people in favor of AI which is also a pretty unreliable language learning tool.

Busuu would be better if you're wanting a similar learning experience

Im not saying their ethics. I’m just saying it is one of the more accessible resources for starting and it’s what I find easiest for motivation. They did a good job of making it feel like a video game for short attention spans like me, and it is available for free, even though the heart system keeps getting more sucky

Busuu is a similar experience and also not many experienced French speakers will recommend Duolingo at all. So just a thought for anyone thats listening.

I don’t have language learning in my budget so I’m only using free resources currently
