Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
yeah, just any general advice. If you want to give advice for something specific just do it though idm :)
btw nice daisuke pfp
the lawless french website does a really good job of outlining exceptions / exception families if that’s a thing ur ever really tripping up on
u’ll find a lot of verbs share the same ending and so their conjugations in certain tenses will be shared
k i'll consider that but for now I just need to know my basics 😭 I barely know passé composé
ex: venir, tenir, devenir, soutenir, revenir
yeah, I actually am from spain so i know how it all goes, I just kept dragging it
if it’s passé composé then it’s especially useful for irregular past participles
ohh gotcha
you could always just go the canadian highschool french route and find those stupid conjugation songs 🔥🔥
for the most part verbs are just sorted into their -er -ir -re groups anyway no matter what tense/mood so it should be fairly easy
the harder part is just application + having a large scope on vocabulary
the hardest tense to conjugate is 100% present tense. All other tenses have significantly less exceptions and are typically based on the present tense and/or each other
