Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
me/te/se/nous/vous as object pronouns can be indirect or direct (me becomes -moi in positive imperative, te becomes -toi, etc)
le/la/les as object pronouns are only direct
lui/leur as object pronouns are only indirect
"expliquer" can take two objects : direct for the thing being explained, and indirect for the person being explained TO
Tysm i get it now
I was thinking it may be something like that but the "expliquez-moi" confused me, is the moi here indirect technically then?
yes
I see, how would you word that then?
expliquez-le
Ohh so the pronoun no mattwr what comes after it except if negative
yeah
Also damn didnt even realise there is a negative which im guessing is then like
you can even have both
Ne + pas?
expliquez-le-moi
Ohhh
that's one possible negation yes
And then other ones like ne rien, ne ni ni etc etc ok ok
ye
