Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
"Je compte aller à la pharmacie" is the correct answer.
"Je compte sur aller à la pharmacie" will come off as weird sounding, and I am not sure people will understand it correctly
Compter sur + noun
BUT
Compter + infinitive clause
I would say "Je compte sur le fait d'aller à la pharmacie", because "Je compte aller à la pharmacie" means "I plan on going to the pharmacy" and it sounds like @median fulcrum means that they are relying on the fact of going to the pharmacy
doesn't that mean "i'm planning to go to the pharmacy"??
yeahh
i count on going to the pharmacy when i feel sick
je compte sur le fait d'aller à la pharmacie quand je tombe maalde
There is still something a bit strange about it, so that it feels more natural I would say something more along the lines of "Je compte/j'espère pouvoir aller à la pharmacie quand je suis malade", as a way to say "I expect/hope that I'll be able to go to the pharmacy when I feel sick"
Not strange, stiff
Yeah, it will sound more like you are planning to go with the first sentence. For the intention to rely on it, I would say "Je compte pouvoir y aller (si je tombe malade)" or "Je compte bien y aller (si je tombe malade)"
