Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

also, "à le" and "au le" do not exist
"au" is the mandatory contraction of à + le
meaning
je vais à + au parc => je vais au parc

#

-# technically "à le" can exist when "le" is an object pronoun, but not as an article

dans le parc, dans le jardin, i would think

well, "dans le parc" and "au parc" both work, but mean different things

les lapins habitent dans le parc, n'est-ce pas?

with "au parc" you're conveying the general location of where you are in relation to the entire city, as if you were pointing at a place on a map
with "dans le parc" you're conveying that you are within the enclosure of it

also I want to say, when it comes to prepositions of places: regions/countries are exceptions. They don't work the way all other places do, just be aware of that
