Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
- Idk both structures make sense
Just the passive voice isn't as common in French as in English
Quand on dit que ça permet d'incorporer bcp d'air, le sujet c'est on
- What would en + verb be here?
What tense?
En barattant ?
(Idk that verb lol)
That means by V-ing
Also stop saying hi natives
We have non natives here that are really good at french too
Why do you always only ask for help from natives?
« ce qui permet que » would be fine, you just need it to be a different subject
« Ce qui permet que beaucoup d’air soit incorporé »
It just isn’t that common
À vrai dire, ce sont vous les natifs qui avez les « instincts francophones natifs™️ » dont tous les apprenants manquent
😅 Actually I usually address the natives because I want the answers direct from the horse's mouth.
I've had non-native teachers here in my city teach me weird stuff both when I learnt Spanish and French
.
So I try to avoid any confusion altogether, just because of some bad experiences.
I don't mean to be rude at all to the learners from other areas. 🙏 😇 💟 🪻
I'm certain they are all very smart and helpful ⭐
