Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
I don't know about the best way to learn the language, but I know taking in person classes works well for me.
I also know a little about TV shows and movies, from personal experience, a mix of watching with subtitles and without is best, and watching movies you already know well, kids shows, or anything where the target audience is younger helps because the vocabulary is less advanced, especially as a beginner, also repeated watches are going to be helpful (which is easier to do with songs, which I'll talk about more in a minute) I've also heard that really bad reality TV is good
Songs are also great, and looking at the lyrics the first couple of listens help you learn a couple of new word (it's how I learned the word sourire from the song "Changer" by Gims) It's not perfect, but the more you listen to one song on repeat, the more you pick up from it, and even if it's not on repeat, you can still listen to it
I'm not great at studying, so media and class time is the easiest time to spend en français, and it helps me a lot, specifically music, because I love music and it doesn't actually take extra time
I understand. I only have apple music - how would you say to learn from music? Especially if I have no clue what they are saying. Thank you!
