Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
sentir is for things you feel with your senses, including a sixth sense in the case of emotions, presences, etc. (in addition to meaning "smell".) "je sens la présence de grand-père." "je sens la douleur dans mon dos." "je sens la joie des personnes autour de moi."
se sentir is for emotions and other interior sensations, but it only takes adjectives. "je me sens triste"
ressentir is like se sentir but for nouns. "je ressens la tristesse/l'ivresse/la douleur du rejet"
QUELLE EXPLICATION !! J'AIME BIEN
