« en nous préparant à aller dormir » is correct but a more idiomatic way would be « avant d’aller dormir »
« cela rendra compliqué de dormir comme un bébé » appears incorrect, I think you could say « nous aurons plus de difficultés à dormir comme des bébés »

Je me limite un peu en définissant des rappels dans mes applis, qui me notifient que j'ai passé un certain temps.
Looks correct, except that « qui me notifient quand j’y ai passé un certain temps » feels more natural to me
