Please be patient
Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
It means to leave something behind or to let someone do something (leave someone to something), among others.
It can be both though for ‘leave’ it’s in the sense of putting something somewhere and forgetting it, not departing somewhere in general
« Mon patron m’a laissé faire ce que je voulais faire. »
(My boss has let me do what I wanted to do.)
« Mon patron a laissé ses clés dans le bureau. »
(My boss has left [behind] his keys at the office.)
