Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
here it's not passé composé, it's just an adjective, meaning "old-fashioned"
why you are using the past participle though? im kinda confused sorry
what are you confused by exactly?
"enfantement c'est vieilli" means "enfantement is old-fashioned", there's no past participle in this sentence
i heard vieilli is the past participle for vieulle?
*vieux
OH wait so to turn somwthinf to adjective u guys turn it into past participle
a lot of past participles are actually the same as adjectives
"vieilli" is indeed the past participle of "vieillir" (to get old)
j'ai vieilli => I got old
ahh that makes much more sense thank you dor taking the time to explain merci beiucoup!!

one way you could notice the difference is because of the verb used
ce mot est vieilli => that word is old-fashioned (uses "être" to indicate a state)
cet homme a vieilli => that man got old (uses "avoir" as auxiliary)
-# careful, a handful of verbs use être as auxiliary
