Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
she's sputtering a bit at the start of her sentence, might not be helping
"et... y a... y a... y a... qu'est-ce qu'on a... comment on appelle ça ? du tofu?" => how is this called? (trying to remember the name of something)
Yup, now I do feel dumb. Thank you! Listened to the whole thing multiple times and still couldn't figure it out 🤦🏽♀️
don't worry too much about it. You can't get everything. If you're listening to hundreds of sentences, even if it's stuff you know, of course you're gonna stumble on some of it. and once your brain starts to recognize a sound as one thing, it's hard to clear up the mixup
Yeah I'm trying not to. I also think I'm panicking because I'm attempting an exam tomorrow for the fourth time and I keep forgetting basic things 😭 thanks again!
you can't get everything perfect and you're not expected to 👍 it's more important to know how to bounce back from misunderstanding
