Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
in this case "gros" would be more like... big
"gras" means fat/fatty
mais on dit d'une personne qu'elle est grosse, pas grasse
c'est vraiment pour les cochons parce qu'on les mange
donc "gras" est positif alors que gros est négatif
en effet, c'est pour ça que j'ai dit "in this case" ^^
gros = big around the middle
grand = big in terms of height
gras = fatty
so, with people, if they're gros, they're big around the middle, thus fat
indeed, it's a case where English and French don't line up well with one another
