Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
in the case of professions/statuses it's better to leave them out
exception ¯_(ツ)_/¯
That's SO WEIRD
In this case if you put "un" it will be more in the sense "one among the others" so it sound strange.
it sounds super weird as well, welp
gotta get used to it ig
When it comes to professions, the noun acts like an adjective hence no article. This only happens when the word stands alone; once another adjective comes into play, the profession turns back into a noun.
« Je suis étudiant »
« Je suis un bon étudiant »
The difference is clearer when you go into the third person:
« Elle est étudiante »
« C’est une bonne étudiante »
Excellent way to phrase it tysm
