Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

suis doesn't mean feel

#

suis can mean to follow

"je suis bien" can mean "I feel good" / "I am comfortable" but it is "être" in that case (to be)

that said, you don't need to learn what "suis" means. It's one form of another word with variations, and it's better to know how these variations work
Do you know what conjugation is?

"être" is the verb meaning "to be"
in which case "je suis" indeed mean "I am"

the thing is, not all translations are direct and sometimes "être" will be preferred in French while other verbs like "feel" will be in English
