Then why is the answer à la prochaine and not à demain if translations are accurate

If it's specifically "see you tomorrow" then the answer should be "à demain". I'm sure this is a mishap.

maybe it's because the tomorrow is in parenthesis, meaning it's implied/optional, whereas à demain explicitly means "see you tomorrow"

but I'm just guessing
