she's not french, having trouble understanding the first bit since her accent is odd to me, but then she awkwardly/unnaturally says roughly:
"I hope you don't take me [for] stupid, because I am a poor little woman who has to work to get her bread, oh you don't have to be so insolent with me [....] I hope you don't speak 'stupid'" and then just repeats herself
