Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

do you mean like french learning books for foreigners
le parvis probably does

I think they mean just general books in french (probably with lower levels available)
And then stationery is what they meant for the other part

#

But yeah searching for librairies will get you good results

#

For stationery you could probably just write that, not sure about other things you could look up

The main chains here are Fnac, Cultura, and l’Espace Culturel (which you can find easily in every mall with a E.Leclerc supermarket) and they don't just sell books but also stationery and other cultural products (music albums, videogames, movies, musical instuments, material for crafting...). The only chain really specialised in stationery is Bureau Vallée but don't go there.
However if you want to find independent bookstores, you're likely to find one by chance in the street so finding one is not really hard, but you can use websites like this one https://www.leslibraires.fr/le_reseau/
