#m’aidez/(venez) m’aider: correct or incorrect

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
m’aidez/(venez) m’aider: correct or incorrect
It’s not grammatically wrong actually and you can used it with “vous” : “vous m’aidez” (you help me)
But it’s not related to “mayday”
for the imperative, you would say "aidez-moi"
Yes
It is actually. This word takes its origin from the french word "m'aider" and was invented in 1923 to report distress
Really? Ok I learned something thank you
No problem 🤗
it was supposed to stand for venez m'aider
So basically it's correct, but not in the sense of an imperative as the phrase "Mayday" implies right
