you have everything right, you just missed the verb « passer » (which can mean to spend) before « du temps » and dans instead of à (not á because this doesn't exist in French)

what articles in particular are hard for you? perhaps we can help with those

I've always heard salle de bain, though I've been over this before and salle de bains is often considered "the standard". It doesn't make much sense to me since bathrooms usually only have one bath

If by "go to the bathroom" you mean pee or poop, no
like I said above, in France "salle de bains" doesn't mean toilet
so "passer à la salle de bains" means you want to go wash up / brush your teeth / take a shower

I have to disagree since, in my experience, people are much more likely to specify what they're planning on doing, but it's not wrong

"Je veux passer du temps dans la salle de bain(s)" sounds a lot like being in the bathroom is somehow inherently interesting, without doing anything else

in french we'd generally explain what you're planning/would like to do, and be more specific about it

but saying something like, "je vais me débarbouiller"
or "je vais prendre une bonne douche chaude" is normal
