Is there a video of someone explaining the prep positions properly
when le is contracted to l' then you don't comibe it with a
"je vais au musée" but
"je vais à l'aéroport"
I get you
A bit
For example
Je vais aux toilettes
Plural
Je vais au lit
Would that make sense
When would u use à instead of saying au
Because they mean the same thing
But I noticed you used à without the au and
Some people use the à separate
Is that for distance and time and age
À can mean a lot of things. It’s commonly used after verbs to connect an indirect object or another verb
But for the sake of your question being about au/à:
You use à with feminine nouns or masculine nouns beginning with a vowel sound, you use au for masculine nouns (not beginning with a vowel sound), and you use aux as the plural form of à/au
Yea those two make sense
And “je vais en avoin” would mean “I’m going by plane”
So like you’re taking a plane to a destination
Are you using duolingo? Duolingo teaches that “en” can mean “by” when talking about travelling by a vehicle
No there was this one femme on YouTube who said you can use en means feminine countries
But she never explained how to use it other than that
En France -> in France
Yeah you should be able to
Perhaps you can use this link
I’ve never used it but it was recommended to a friend by someone
That was actually the wrong link oopsies
https://www.la-vie-en-francais.com/les-prepositions-devant-les-noms-de-pays-diles-ou-de-villes/
You can use both
Merci beaucoup ❤️
