Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
yes. the verb always needs to be conjugated for the subject
so would this make grammatical sense "je leur a parle"
je leur a parlé, but yeah
and that would be passe compose correct
yes

@cosmic cipher je leur ai parlé
why ai
oh right
Passé composé is the auxiliary (avoir/être) conjugated in the present tense + the past participle
If you want to translate any verb in the passée composée , here's a useful tip.
1/take the verb you wanna conjugate in present (ex:trouver)
2/conjugate in the 1st person plural (ex:trouvons)
3/take off the presents terminaisons (ex: trouv)
4/replace it with the passée composée's terminaison (ex:trouvions)
WARNING this technic doesn't work with the verb "être"
That's not the passé composé, that's imparfait.
Passé composé is auxiliary (avoir or être) + past participle
il se trompa
Oh yeah
