Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Looks like to me that they want to do inclusive writing but wrote it wrong
« pourvu » is an adjective and it's common in the online sphere that adjectives are written with dots or slashes to list all gendered forms
pourvu.e.s
fait.e.s
parlé.e.s
travailleur.euse
favori.te.s
I think they're just marking how the feminine is formed and not necessarily trying to do inclusive writing
Isn't inclusive writing, in part, marking all agreements?
I thought that inclusive writing also includes marking agreements so where dictionaries would just list the masculine like « pourvu », an inclusive version would be « pourvu.e.s » to mark all agreements
